NESV Ice is a modern ice facility in Attleboro, Massachusetts, with approximately 108,205 square feet of usable building space and 126,992 square feet of gross leasable area across two stories. The facility sits on about 12.39 acres and was built in 2016 as a major anchor of the broader New England Sports Village concept.

The facility includes two full NHL sheets, a 3/4 sheet studio rink, and a goalie pad, giving NESV flexible ice for games, practices, lessons, public sessions, tournaments, and goalie development.

The rink was designed for teams, leagues, training programs, tournaments, private rentals, public skating, and family entertainment. It is also home to family entertainment, party and reception space, The Barn, Dunkin’, and physical therapy through Highbar Physical Therapy.

In addition to the ice surfaces, NESV supports a full day at the rink with physical therapy, skate rentals, private locker rooms, food and drink, party space, and player-focused areas.

Michael Balzarini

Business & Hockey Development | Scheduling | Private Lessons

When Michael is not on skates, he is head of Business and Hockey Development at NESV.

Michael was first introduced to the hockey rink at the age of 4 and has had a passion for the ice ever since. He played high school hockey for Catholic Memorial and college hockey at Assumption College. He has coached youth and high school teams for more than 15 years and is currently the Varsity Boys Head Hockey Coach at Mansfield High School. Michael brings creativity, hockey experience, and personal relationship management to NESV’s programs.

Michael Donovan

Hockey Coach | Skills Trainer

Michael is an experienced member of the NESV hockey coaching staff.

Michael trains players across the hockey spectrum, from young skaters to skilled high school players. He focuses on fundamentals, attitude, confidence, discipline, communication, and helping players build strengths while improving weaker areas of their game.
